Brightening Children’s Future with REACH

Education has always been a priority in our efforts to help local communities build a better tomorrow.

As a proud sponsor of the REACH Bursary Award cum Mentoring Programme 2017 run by REACH Community Services Society (RCSS), Air Products donated USD25,000 to help provide financial and moral support to over 100 young students from low-income families.

Our employees also organized various events for the children, including a tour of our Senoko facility, and a Family Day trampolining event.

Nurturing Next Generation of Science Talent

Our corporate citizenship extends to the development of future industry professionals.

Air Products Singapore’s efforts included hosting facility tours for chemical engineering and chemistry students and their professor from the Netherlands’ Eindhoven University of Technology during their Southeast Asia tour, and for students and staff from ITE College East during the ChemEX 2017 event organized by Singapore Chemical Industry Council and Chemical Industry Manpower Advisory Committee.

Developing Sustainable Solutions to Conserve Water

Grow Conserve Care LogoOne of Air Products’ 2020 goals is to reduce water use intensity by five percent from 2015 baseline year. As another step towards achieving sustainability for Singapore, our employees developed a solution in 2016 that could save up to 2.1 million cubic meters of water per year at our Sakra facility.
